Winter Google Day has been "reformatted" as follows:

Morning

  • Overview and tips and tricks for Google Drive, Docs, and Slides (for beginners and experienced)
  • Creating Groups for classroom use from your Mail contacts (shortcut for sharing!); your profile & settings in Mail
  • Overview and time with Google Forms (use as surveys and/or quizzes)

Afternoon

  • Google Classroom (manage and organize document sharing, commenting, and resources with students.) Create a course and worktime.
  • Google Sites (use as a teacher web page, student project, or ePortfolio)
Teacher Standards
WES1The teacher understands the central concepts, tools of inquiry, and structures of the disciplines he or she teaches and can create learning experiences that make these aspects of subject matter meaningful for pupils.
