This workshop will discuss what Universal Design for Learning® (UDL) is and how it look in today's classroom of diverse learners and personalized learning environments. The UDL framework helps to ensure that students get learning right the first time-every time! UDL facilitates Personalized Learning Environments in both special and general education settings. Based on neuroscience and how we learn, UDL helps provide both students and educators insight, on the learner’s strengths, challenges, aptitudes, interests, talents and aspirations. The framework provides diverse learners multiple means to access information, engage in learning opportunities and express what they know. UDL minimizes barriers, maximizes learning, and helps all learners meet high standards. Come and discover some web-based tools that will help ensure that “everybody learns.”
