Who Should Attend
School-level leadership teams of three or more, to include:

  • Principal (essential)
  • General education and special education teachers
  • Specialists in the content area (either mathematics or reading) addressed by the school during this workshop. Examples include reading specialist, Title One, mathematics instructors, pupil services, RtI coordinator, gifted and talented coordinator, etc.

Outcomes
Teams will leave with:

  • An in-depth understanding of Wisconsin’s systems framework for Response to Intervention (RtI)
  • Activities, materials, and resources to support staff’s common understanding, buy-in, and sustained implementation of Wisconsin’s RtI framework
  • An local outline of current RtI framework implementation in either reading or mathematics
  • An assessment of system-wide RtI implementation using the School-wide Implementation Review.
  • A RtI action plan linked to existing school improvement goals and actions for either reading or mathematics

What to Bring
Due to the interactive nature of this training, school leadership teams should bring:

  • A laptop with wireless connectivity (for some activities it may be helpful to have one to one access which could be a laptop/iPad)
  • The school’s improvement goals and plans
  • Student achievement goals and/or school-level trend data for either reading or mathematics (e.g. State Report Card, aggregated and disaggregated benchmark assessment results).

Cost
$130 per participant. Fee includes registration breakfast, networking lunch and materials for both days.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the training date for a refund to be issued. Cancellations for the PBIS Conference must be received 30 days in advance. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. The Wisconsin RtI Centers reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs.
