LEARNER OBJECTIVES

1. Differentiate between 5 unique purposes of assessment in early childhood settings.
2. Assess district/county ongoing assessment practices to identify strengths & potential areas for growth.
3. Critique criterion-referenced assessment tools for use in functional assessment.
4. Practice using data from assessment tools in the Child Outcomes rating process.

TRAINER
Ruth Chvojicek has worked for over 20 years with young children and the adults that support them. Currently WI Statewide Child Outcomes Coordinator, she supports school districts in designing systems that collect and report accurate data on the status of young children on 3 Child Outcomes:

1. Positive social-emotional skills

2. Acquisition and use of knowledge/skills

3. Appropriate behaviors to meet own needs.

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
