Join us to explore how to integrate the Engineering Practices of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) into your elementary classroom to create fun and engaging lessons for your young explorers. This workshop day for elementary teachers (K-5) will provide an overview of the NGSS Engineering Practices for K-5 students. You will learn how to teach hands-on engineering topics that will excite and engage your students’ learning. It will also be an opportunity to network and build a Professional Learning Community (PLC) to facilitate your professional development and connect with other teachers who are integrating the NGSS science and engineering practices into their classrooms
Bring your laptop or tablet. Chromebooks are also available for use at CESA 5
