U300 - Tier 1 Universal Team Training

Implementing PBIS in your School: Tier 1/Universal System Part 3

Participants will revisit essential school-wide systems (data, teaching, acknowledgement, and interventions) and us the Team Implementation Checklist to self-assess current implementation and action plan around identified needs. In addition, participants will look at the Benchmarks of Quality to begin to understand the use of the tool in self-evaluation. Lastly, teams will review effective and efficient classroom management systems and draft strategy to link classroom systems to their school-wide PBIS framework.

Completion of this day is a necessary part of Tier 2 readiness.

Target Audience: Building Level Universal team that includes: Building administrator, external and internal coaches, regular education teachers that represent grade levels, special education teacher, social worker and/or psychologist, specials teacher, paraprofessional and family members.)

Participants should bring:

• School calendar and staff development days
   
• All artifacts/products from U100s and U200s such as behavioral matrix, cool tools/behavior lesson plans, acknowledgement system, T-chart of behavior, “working smarter” matrix and any information shared with school community.
   
• Big Five and other relevant data (included discipline data disaggregated by ethnicity and disability status) for previous month for problem solving and action planning.

Cost: Included in the Universal Team Training fee.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing.
