The next update of your school district Information and Technology Plan is due by June 30, 2014. DPI now requires electronic submission of this document. No more paper. They have provided you a Google “site” template as the means to do this.

CESA 10 will host an “Information and Technology Plan” workday on October 8, 2014, from 8:30am-3:00pm in the Teleconference Room. Attendees will get acquainted with their template and begin to submit updated components of their school district plan. Please consider sending 1-3 key people who have primary responsibility for updating your current plan.
Lunch will be provided.
In the meantime,
1. If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to start planning for the needs assessment portion of your plan. DPI recommends that all school districts use the national “Speak Up” survey (http://www.tomorrow.org/speakup/) for needs assessment purposes.
2. Send Neil Johnson the Gmail address for whoever is in charge of updating the plan, so he can give them editing rights on the plan site.
If you are not able to make the meeting on October 8, contact Neil Johnson to schedule a time when he can meet with you to help you get started with the new submission requirements.
