CESA #3 will be hosting three trainings this year related to how districts can use the data that is received from MAP Assessments to improve student learning and monitor student growth. The trainings will be provided by NWEA-MAP trainers.
NWEA-MAP Level 2 – Stepping Stones to Using Data
This one-day workshop is designed to help teachers and building administrators understand and interpret assessment report data for the purpose of improving student learning. Understanding test data is essential for districts to be able to gauge the effectiveness of programs. With this understanding, educators can make better informed decisions related to school and classroom improvement programs. This is an excellent training for districts who are new to MAP Assessments or who are considering using MAP Assessments.
In the training participants will:
• Learn how to access, analyze, and interpret data
• Learn how to use Instructional Resources reports
• Preview NWEA resources
• Plan together to use data in on-going work
Expectations for the Participants:
• Building Local Expertise Model - This model will provide district staff (e.g., instructional leaders, lead teachers, instructional coaches, administrators) with tools and resources to teacher concepts and content to others within their school and district.
• All Staff Model – Staff new to your district, new to MAP, or in need of a refresher will learn how to use MAP data to inform instructional decisions.
Audience: All Educators, School Psychologists, Guidance Counselors Related Service Personnel, Principals and Administrators
Register early- Seating is limited to the first 40 registrants! Cost: $200/per person
