Converting to School-Wide Title I

Interested in transforming your Title 1 program form Target Assistance to School-Wide? This workshop will provide you with the resources you need to start this process in your school district. Benefits of School Wide Title 1 include:

• Flexibility in Spending Title 1 funds
• Comprehensively plan the overall educational program for all children in the school, utilizing all federal funds
• Allow teachers and aides to attend professional development based upon district needs.
• Address the needs of all students with an integrated approach in reading and math.
• Spend Federal resources in ways they determine can most effectively raise the achievement of their students.
• Stimulate comprehensive reform of the entire instructional program provided to children, rather than operating separate and fragmented add-on programs.

Participants will learn the required elements of a school-wide program and learn from districts that have recently gone through the process.

Free to all CESA 8 School Districts. Costs offset by Title I Funds

 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
