Mandatory All Day Attendance

The purpose of this professional development opportunity is to provide participants with examples of compliance and effective practice standards to meet Indicator #13 Requirements. Please bring IEPs to review using the Indicator #13 checklist.

A DPI consultant will be available via ITV to answer questions. If your district is on the Procedural Compliance self assessment cycle, this is an opportunity to prepare district staff for fall IEP reviews of randomly selected IEP’s.

The professional development opportunity is sponsored by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), the Wisconsin Statewide Transition Initiative, the Statewide Personnel Development Grant and the Regional Service Network.

Lunch will be provided and there is no cost to participate.  Questions can be directed to Karen Lietzow at (608) 742-8814, ext. 309, or email lietzowk@cesa5.k12.wi.us

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
