New dates and times!  All meetings will be virtual learning. Join us for professional learning and deep conversations around the book Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain by Zaretta Hammond. Convenient VIRTUAL monthly professional learning meetings after schol on the first Wednesday of the month, starting November 4, 2020 from 3:45-5:00 pm. The first 10 people to register will receive a copy of the book at no cost (limit two books per district).

Have you always wanted to dig deeper into learning around culturally responsive teaching? What does it mean really? Culturally responsive teaching is not a practice, it is what informs our instructional practices so we can make better teaching choices for ALL of our students. Culturally responsive teaching promotes authentic engagement and rigor in the classroom. Join us and we connect this learning to our practices in the Social Studies classrooms.

All meetings will be conducted virtually from 3:45-5:00.

This workshop is offered at no additional cost to those districts participating in Universal School Improvement Services including Abbotsford, Augusta, Bloomer, Bruce, Chippewa Falls, Colby, Eleva-Strum, Flambeau, Gilman, Gilmanton, Granton, Greenwood, Ladysmith, Lake Holcombe, Loyal, Mondovi, Neillsville, New Auburn, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, and Thorp.  (Discount will be automatically applied.)

The cost for all other participants will be $500 per workshop.
