Audience: District level leadership teams are strongly encouraged, PBIS external coaches, RTI coordinators, school and district level administrators/leaders, leadership teams or other educators engaged in systems-level implementation of Equitable Multi-level Systems of Supports.
Purpose: This session is designed for teams from schools and districts that are at the exploration, infrastructure building or initial states of using district-level implementation teams looking to create an integrated model of Equitable Multi-level Systems of Supports.
Do you have multiple teams that work on supporting students, such as PBIS, mental health, trauma sensitive, universal reading or math, and so on? Are these teams linked so that they form a coherent and aligned system that operates efficiently and effectively? Would your district or school building benefit from using a framework or blueprint to guide the work of these teams?
This session will address how leadership teams can move from "letting it happen" or "helping it happen" to "making it happen" through the use of Wisconsin Equitable Multi-level Systems of Supports Framework and other evidence-based resources. Strategies for mapping teams and initiatives, aligning initiatives to a common purpose, and linking teams for more efficient and effective systems will be presented. Examples of how Wisconsin schools and districts are doing this work will also be provided so that participants will leave with a plan for how to get started, as well as know how to access ongoing technical assistance and support.
Prerequisite: Tier 1 and Framework trained
