Google Expeditions is a virtual-reality teaching tool. You can swim with sharks, visit outer space, walk through a museum, and more without leaving the classroom. There are close to 500 expeditions available and more in development. Teachers will learn about different ways to provide collaboration opportunities for the students in their classrooms and beyond. The afternoon will include supported planning time for teachers to implement their learning into their classrooms. Workshop Objectives: Learn about the free opportunities for virtual collaboration and fieldtrips. Identify a unit of study that could be enhanced by virtual collaboration or virtual fieldtrips. Develop an action plan to implement your learning into the classroom or to share with colleagues.
-CANCELLATION POLICY-
Unless otherwise noted, if we receive your cancellation at least 48 hours before the program begins, you will qualify for a full refund. If you do not show up or cancel prior to the 48 hour time frame, you are subject to a $25.00 late cancellation fee.
