CESA 6’s Social Emotional Learning Center and Safe & Healthy Schools are teaming up to offer a 4-session, Virtual Ed-Camp Series for educators looking to connect! Ed Camps are professional development opportunities that are participant-driven. 

Please join each Wednesday beginning on April 1, 2020, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. via Zoom. This opportunity may be extended depending on whether schools in our region have reopened. If you can't make it every week, just join us when you can!

Outcomes:

This opportunity is designed to connect us with our peers in order to:

  • help foster emotional resilience

  • share and gain access to needed resources

  • identify and prioritize trending topics, or areas of learning required to navigate student and staff needs during Covid-19 shut down

  • collaborate and learn with regional educators

Target Audience:

  • Any educator and administrator interested in connecting (see outcomes)

Additional Information:

To help give participants some direction for the first session on April 1 potential topics for discussion/learning will include the following:

  • Resources to support adult or student SEL/MH needs

  • Adult self care practices

  • Parent/caregiver supports

  • Handling the unexpected

  • Virtual relationship building

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
