This workshop will provide the support and guidance for participants to dig into the 2018-19 accountability report card. Participants will gain an understanding of what is behind the numbers and ratings. This will be an opportunity to investigate how recent instruction and organizational changes have impacted student performance. The workshop format is conducive for networking with others about communication strategies and more. Bring a data team to maximize the effectiveness of this workshop.

Participants will:

• Explore the report card features 
• Make meaning of the numbers and ratings 
• Investigate what lies behind the numbers 
• Plan for next steps 
• Network with other districts

Who should attend?

• District and school personnel with the responsibility of communicating the meaning of the report card to other stakeholders.
  • This may include curriculum coordinators, teacher leaders, building administrators, department leaders, or technology directors. 
• Participants should have access to the detailed version of the secure report card in SAFE.

Cost: (includes materials and lunch)

$100 per person for ESSA CESA 6 Consortium of Support member districts

$125 per person for non-members

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
