New Coordinator Orientation
& Fall Title I Coordinator Meeting
Presenters:
Mary Ann Hudziak – CESA 6 ESEA & Title I Support Services Director
Anne Pagel – CESA 6 Title I & Literacy Center Consultant
This meeting will provide support for new and continuing
Title I Coordinators related to the ESSA application and budget, working with private schools, family engagement, Title I law, programming, reporting requirements, school improvement strategies and monitoring information.
Note: Continuing Coordinators wishing to review the basics of Title I are welcome to attend the orientation session from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
Participants will:
- Receive timely support based on state and regional needs assessment
- Receive information about Title I expectations and timelines with guidance from DPI
- Review and analyze data, specifically related to local programming and student achievement
- Share effective strategies for improvement
- Other topics of discussion may include: ?
- How do Title I, Special Education and EL programs work together? (including family engagement)
- Similarities & differences between targeted and schoolwide programming
- Working with private school partners
- Network with other CESA 6 region Title I Coordinators

Cancellation Policy:
Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
