Description: This FREE interactive workshop will increase participant understanding of the CCR-IEP Process through the lens of related services. The focus will be on the application of Steps 1, 2 and 3.

Outcomes:

  • Participants will increase their understanding of the CCR IEP 5 Step Process and how to use it to develop IEPs

  • Participants will build their capacity to apply Step 1 (Understand Achievement), Step 2 (Identify Effects of Disability and Disability Related Needs, and Step 3 (Develop Ambitious and Achievable Goals) so they can develop IEPs designed to improve access, engagement, and progress for students with IEPs

  • Participants will increase their awareness of CCR-IEP resources available to support the development of CCR-IEPs

Who should attend? Teams of at least 2: Administrators, Related Service Providers, Special Education Teachers, General Education Teachers, and Pupil Services

What should you bring? Each district team must bring a copy of a student’s IEP* to use as reference or have access to an IEP online to use during the training.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
