Who Should Attend: Those brand new to the CIP process (that have never gone through a data retreat) OR those schools/districts that have been identified.

Pre-series Readiness Webinar December 19, 2019, 1:00 PM-2:00 PM

• Series overview, logistics, and outcomes.

Part I: February 18, 2020, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

• Understand WI’s Continuous Improvement Process and build readiness for change.
• Build common beliefs and purpose within a School/District Continuous Improvement Leadership Team.
• Develop leadership skills that will support improvement efforts.
• Understand methods for measuring educator practice and student learning.
• Conduct a focused ESSA and/or IDEA data inquiry with specific emphasis on root cause analysis and practices inquiry.

Part II: April 2, 2020, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

• Develop leadership skills that will support improvement efforts.
• Build an understanding of evidence-based improvement strategies.
• Understand and use methods for measuring changes in educator practice and student learning.
• Analyze practice inquiry findings and select evidence-based improvement strategies for implementation.

Part III: June 16 or 19, 2020, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM
**Districts can choose one of the two days offered based on their schedules. The two days will be the same content.**

• Reflect upon leadership team behaviors that support improvement efforts.
• Review and reflect upon changes in educator practice and student learning.
• Continue to deepen knowledge of evidence-based improvement strategies.
• Understand methods and behaviors for sustaining continuous improvement.

Part IV: July 30, 2020 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

• Feedback and next steps for districts that have a completed plan OR a repeat of June for districts that did not attend one of the June dates (small group).
