Serving Private Schools under ESSA
Thursday, May 16, 2019 -- Meeting 12:00-3:00
Guest Speaker, Abbie Pavela, WI ESSA Ombudsman
Audience: Private School Leaders receiving Title I, II, III or IV funds, District leaders who direct Title I, II, III and IV funds.
Join us for an afternoon focusing on Equitable Participation for Private Schools under ESSA. LEAs and private school leaders are encouraged to attend together. This session will inform educators about requirements under ESSA and allow LEAs and private school leaders an opportunity to engage in part of consultation for the 19-20 school year. ESSA Ombudsman, Abbie Pavela, will facilitate the afternoon and answer questions specific to public and private partnerships under ESSA.

Participant Cancellation Policy:
You must contact CESA 4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event unless otherwise stated in the individual event details. CESA 4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA 4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.
Dietary Restrictions:
Because of the number of meals served, number of ingredients used, and food product changes from vendors, we cannot guarantee dietary restrictions as indicated in a user's myQuickReg profile will be accommodated. Participants with dietary restrictions such as food allergies should plan to bring their own refreshments.
Weather Conditions:
If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA 4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.
Additional Accommodations:
If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
