Throughout her workshop, Gravity Goldberg will remind you why you became a teacher and will coach you to bring your unique gifts and talents into the classroom. Through illuminating stories, reflection questions, short videos of advice from her and other educators, Gravity will exercise her gifts for developing teacher agency as she coaches you to become the biggest, boldest, and most powerful version of your teacher self.

CESA 6 CANCELLATION POLICY:

Any registration cancellation must be received before Monday, February 24, 2020 in order for a full refund to be issued. Registration cancellations received after Monday, February 24, 2020, a refund will be issued, but minus $50 for each participant in order to cover the cost of catering that was ordered and materials that were made for each participant(s).  Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.

Gravity Goldberg is an international educational consultant and author of five books on teaching. Mindsets & Moves (Corwin Literacy, 2015) put her on the world stage with its practical ways to cultivate student agency, leading to speaking engagements and foreign translations of her work. She has almost 20 years of teaching experience, including positions as a science teacher, reading specialist, third-grade teacher, special educator, literacy coach, staff developer, assistant professor, educational consultant, and yoga teacher. Gravity holds a B.A. and M.Ed. from Boston College and a doctorate in education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She serves as a coach for Seth Godin's altMBA and is the founding director of Gravity Goldberg, LLC, a team that provides side-by-side coaching for teachers.
