Description: Educators recognize the need for timely, effective nonviolent interventions with students who exhibit challenging behaviors.  They know that such interventions improves the physical safety of all participants and created a more trusting and caring learning environment.

The Nonviolent Crisis Intervention? program is a safe, non-harmful behavior management system designed to help educational and human services professionals provide the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety and Security of disruptive, assaultive, and out-of-control individuals.

FLEX is CPI’s new blended eLearning option combining online and classroom experiences to deliver a flexible learning program. This innovative training teaches the same proven skills, supports the same principles, promotes the same philosophy, and adheres to the same quality standards as traditional Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training and includes the enhanced training with additional content and new physical intervention options.

Participants will be required to complete the online portion of the FLEX-NVCI training PRIOR to attending the classroom portion.  NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE CLASSROOM TRAINING WITHOUT FIRST COMPLETING THE ONLINE PORTION.  NO EXCEPTION WILL BE ALLOWED. Once registered for this training, participants will receive an e-mail from CPI stating how to complete the online portion two weeks prior to the in-person date. The online training should take between 2.5-3.5 hours.
