Learning Strategies Designed for Maximum Learner Advantage.

Leverage Lab: Start-up Workshops:

Learning organizations are constantly looking at their existing resources, practices, processes (RPPs) as a way to maximize performance and by moving into a position of great leverage. The idea of leverage, or “the use of something to maximum advantage”, is the central design principal in the  Leverage Lab that was created to help teams examine current RPP’s, and ensure that they are maximizing their best resource; the learner.

The Leverage Lab is a ‘learner-centered’ design series that engages participants in processes that position the organization/leaders/practices, so that the learner is in a position of greatest leverage.  Today’s systems are pursuing a ‘profile of a graduate’ that encompasses world-class knowledge, as well as learning skills, and achievement driven dispositions. In order to ensure all learners are developing this profile, systems must examine their learning experiences from top to bottom and align approaches and strategies to create ‘graduate profile learning experiences’.

This workshop is an opportunity to learn and network alongside local leaders. Please note that  “Carry-ins”  are ALLOWED...in that we want you to ‘carry-in’ your ideas, work, and goals, as the workshop is designed to infuse with your local context, and make the necessary system shifts to ensure ‘learner leverage’.

Outcomes: Shifting your thinking, practices, and system… to shift performance!

Learn...how learning strategies help align the actions of a team
Launch...determine your ideal entry point, destination (goals), and route
Leverage...the learner as a powerful resource, via powerful practices/processes
Lead...organizational change, performance results, and a culture of efficacy
