Do you use charts in your classroom to help make learning “stick,” but often end up feeling “stuck” instead? Educators often find themselves wondering how to use charts more effectively to support student learning. From questions such as, “How many charts is too many?” to “How can I help my students use the charts independently?” and “How can I tell if my charts are even effective?,” this workshop is here to help! When used properly, charts can be a valuable tool to support independence and transfer within the classroom. Throughout the day, participants will study how experts successfully use charts to support student learning. Collaborative discussions and hands-on experiences will allow for discovery of different types of charts and their purposes.
