This meeting will provide support for new and continuing Title I Coordinators related to the ESSA application and budget, working with private schools, family engagement, Title I law, programming, reporting requirements, school improvement strategies and monitoring information.

NOTE: Continuing Coordinators wishing to brush up on the basics of Title I are welcome to attend the orientation session from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Workshop objectives

Participants will:

  • Receive timely support based on state and regional needs assessment
  • Receive information about Title I expectations with guidance from DPI
  • Review and analyze data, specifically related to local programming and student achievement
  • Share effective strategies for improvement
  • Discuss the role of Title I in an RtI system. How do Title I, Special Education and ELL programs work together?
  • Network with other CESA 6 region Title I Coordinators

Who should attend

District personnel with the responsibility of Title I programming, budgets, and instruction (i.e. Title I Coordinator, Principal, Superintendent, Lead Title I Teacher, Reading Specialist, RtI Coordinator)

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
