Teachers College Reading Units of Study for 3rd - 5th Grades

Upper elementary-level teachers face an important challenge: teaching children how to read while enabling them to build good habits so they fall in love with reading. Many teachers find the independent Reading Workshop to be the component of reading instruction that meets this challenge. The sessions within this workshop series are devoted to the individual units of study as well as examples of mini-lessons and reading conferences.

3^rd – 5^th grade teachers using the Teachers College Reading Units of Study, reading specialists, literacy coaches, and principals.

REGISTRATION FEE: $325 per participant for series

• Includes access to online materials and resources and lunch.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full refund to be issued. Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
