Description:
This workshop will focus on Local Education Agencies (LEAs) planning and working with private schools with regard to Title funding. This meeting will be co-facilitated with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and will provide an opportunity for communication and collaboration between private school administrators and public school Title I teams.

Workshop objectives:
Participants will:

  • Receive guidance on procedures and timelines for complying with Title I law.
  • Receive sample electronic documents to use or adapt for data collection and/or reporting.
  • Provide an opportunity for private and public school administrators to collaborate.
  • This workshop can be used as your consultation meeting between an LEA and the private school administration when you attend together.

Who should attend?
District personnel with the responsibility of Title programming, budgets, and instruction (i.e. Title I Coordinator, Principal, Superintendent, lead Title I teacher, Reading Specialist, RtI Coordinator) AND Private School administrators that work with districts regarding Title funding, including schools working with students in CESAs and districts adjacent to CESAs 6, 7, and 8.  It is highly recommended that LEAs attend with Private School partners.
