We invite anyone (eg. Early Childhood teachers, 4K teachers, Head Start Teachers, Child Care Providers) who works with young children or families of young children (ages birth to 6) to attend this professional development series provided through Early Childhood Networking Group meetings. The agenda will always include updates on and the latest available information regarding pertinent Early Childhood Special Education topics including child find, Preschool Environments (Indicator 6); Child Outcomes (Indicator 7), Early Transitions(Indicator 12), DPI initiatives, eligibility, social emotional development, assessment and IEP practices. We involve guest speakers when appropriate. We encourage the sharing of resources and practical application/strategies. 

Although there is no charge for the networking meetings, participants are asked to register.

We are excited to help you take a deeper look at CCR IEP's for our youngest learners.  Join us for this half day event (which runs concurrent to the Early Childhood Special Ed Networking meeting) where we will discuss the following:

*Purpose, consideration and best practices involving  IEPs for children ages 3-6
*Effects of the disability and disability-related need
*Integrating Child Outcomes into the IEP
*Use of age-anchoring tools
*EC literacy in the IEP 
*Embedded interventions
*LRE discussions that lead to inclusive practices

Participants are encouraged to come in teams and bring a copy of a current IEP.

Fee: No cost - registration required to ensure adequate materials.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
