Teachers in Grades 4-8 are invited to attend this Gifted & Talented Grant Activity Project to learn how to use Google Maps, how to navigate the Global X website, discuss culture and stereotypes, and participate in a Peace Corps volunteer interview and learn what their project goals are.

Students will work through the year to complete the activities, including geography practice, and will receive an invitation to our Spring Global X event where they will share their country presentations on April 10, 2018.

The CESA 12 Gifted and Talented grant will cover all expenses including subs, participant travel and lunch.

Districts are asked to limit student participation to no more than 15 students per district for this school year.

Cancellation Policy: Any registration cancellation must be received before the scheduled registration deadline date for a refund to be issued. Persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 12 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email or phone if a cancellation occurs. All workshop registrations begin 1/2 prior to the event start time.
