Wisconsin athletic coaches join us at CESA 5 this summer for some unique professional development opportunities. This is exactly the type of professional growth every high school and middle school coach needs. So, do what over 1,000 coaches have done by investing in yourself at a Credible Coach Workshop this summer!
Coaches will:
- Compare Intentional/Confident Leadership vs. Passive/Permissive Leadership
- Develop an understanding of how we can unintentionally create systems for student-athletes to fail rather than succeed
- Take advantage of tipping points that can lead to greater mental and emotional toughness for student-athletes
- Explore the 10,000 hour rule of skill development
- Process the role that respect, group think and coach-made hierarchy have in building or breaking down barriers to a program moving forward
Jim McClowry is an educator, coach, public speaker, and athletic director who has facilitated workshops for coaches from over 38 Wisconsin high schools.
Cost: $120 CESA SIS Consortium Members
