This workshop series is designed to support teachers who are using the Lucy Calkins Reading Units of Study as they work to implement the required assessment and instructional routines that are part of the Reading Workshop structure. Each workshop session is distinct from the others, but sequenced to strategically support teachers through implementation in manageable bits. The workshop will be designed around the Reading Units of Study for Middle School* as they are released. Throughout the 2017-2018 school year, additional materials are expected to be released during which time the content of those units will be added to this workshop series.

*The Reading Units of Study for Middle School are scheduled to be published by Heinemann in early September 2017.
