**CANCELLED** CESA 5 Science Network Meeting: Focus on 3-D NGSS Curriculum & Course Alignment

Explore and discuss NGSS science curriculum scope and sequence options with regional science teaching colleagues. Discover and share tools for NGSS implementation, NGSS course alignment and NGSS science teaching resource selection in a collaborative setting.

The Science Network meeting will provide an opportunity for you to network with K-12 science educators across the CESA 5 region and build a Professional Learning Community (PLC). This meeting will provide tools and resources to facilitate your science educator professional development and opportunities to explore and discuss Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) initiatives with colleagues.

Presenter:

Dorothy Ginnett, Ph. D. is the CESA 5 Science Curriculum Specialist and Gifted Education Grant Coordinator.  She is a certified Discover the NGSS trainer. Dorothy is also a wildlife ecologist and a science educator at the secondary level (WI Virtual School) and post-secondary level (Univ. of WI-Stevens Point).

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
