S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K Training

Apply brain stimulation exercises to your pre-k curriculum!

Are you an early childhood, Head Start, preschool, childcare teacher or paraprofessional? Do you work with the 3 to 5-year-old set? Join us for this highly engaging workshop with lots of hands-on activities that make it easy to start S.M.A.R.T. Pre-K immediately!

At this three-day workshop you will:

• Learn how the brain typically develops and what might interrupt that development
• Experience the S.M.A.R.T. activities, which are movement-based, fun for children and easily incorporated into the day
• Understand how to look at students developmentally
• Create the materials you need to immediately implement S.M.A.R.T.
• Become re-energized as educators and ready to create your own S.M.A.R.T. classrooms!

COST:  $500 per person for Student Needs Professional Development (SNPD); $700 per person for all other districts

Fee includes all training materials=$135, light breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

*Participants are encouraged to attend as a team. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs.
