Target Audience: teachers, administrators and instructional leaders wanting to learn about PALS progress monitoring;

The Monitoring Student Progress session provides guidance for using PALS Mid-Year and PALS Quick Checks to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction and interventions by looking closely at student progress in specific literacy skill areas.  Time will be provided to start planning how to use these valuable progress monitoring tools.  

Participants will learn:

  • Three purposes of PALS
  • Why to monitor
  • Ways to monitor student progress with PALS
  • When to progress monitor
  • How to access progress monitoring materials
  • How to administer
  • How to interpret
  • Record keeping strategies

COST:   FREE to districts that have purchased PALS Premiere.
PALS Premiere Member Districts: Bonduel, Bowler, Crandon, Crivitz, Florence, Gillett, Goodman-Armstrong, Gresham, Laona, Marinette, Menominee Indian, Niagara, Oconto, Peshtigo, Suring, Tigerton, Wabeno, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, White Lake

$75.00/person for all other districts.  

CANCELLATION POLICY: Any registration cancellation must be received 7 days prior to the scheduled date to receive a refund or avoid invoicing. CESA 8 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA 8 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. Registered participants not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 8 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment or inclement weather. Participants will be notified via email through myQuickReg.com if a cancellation occurs. DIETARY ACCOMMODATIONS: Due to varied dietary restrictions, CESA 8 cannot guarantee that all special dietary accommodations can be met.
