Coteaching Training--Level 1 “Launch”  ($150 per team of two)

This workshop is for new partnerships in coteaching who will be working together for the 2017-2018 school year. Like the initial training in 2016-2017, this initial training will launch coteaching partnerships with structure, coteaching practices, common learning, and collaborative approaches to professional collaboration in the name of student learning. First semester ongoing learning will be supported in a Google + Community environment. There is a 1 credit option for this training.

Coteaching Training-- Level 2 “Elevate”  ($150 per team of two)

This workshop is designed for coteaching partners who participate in the 2016-2017 Coteaching Project training. Veteran teams will elevate their coteaching practices and collaboration focusing on a lens of coteaching through Universal Design for Learning (UDL).  First semester ongoing learning will be supported in a Google + Community environment. There is a 1 credit option for this training.

Eligible district coteaching teams include: Cashton, G-E-T, La Crosse, Sparta, Tomah, West Salem

Year-long CESA-Supported Coteaching Team Coaching  

  • optional add-on to initial training; invoicing for Coteaching Team Coaching will be separate from workshop.
  • ($300 for a team of two, or $400 for more than one team per building)

In district coteaching coaching provided by Erin Hansen, Special Education Director and Laura Veglahn Title I and Reading Specialist. Coaching includes two face to face classroom visits and coaching sessions arranged between coteaching couple and CESA staff. Coaching includes reflection, goal setting, and resource sharing based on each team’s individual need. Additionally, coteaching coaching includes ongoing technical support via web or phone conference as needed by coteaching teams

$150.00 per team of 2! Pricing will be adjusted after the event. 

Participant Cancellation Policy: You must contact CESA #4 to cancel attendance one week prior to the scheduled event. CESA #4 will only provide full refund of registration fees depending on individual circumstances. Refunds depend upon the ability of CESA #4 to cancel any financial obligations created by the registration such as meals, materials, etc. CESA #4 reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by e-mail or phone if a workshop is cancelled. If a participant is a 'no show' the school will be billed for the registration fee, or loss of the 'free' attendance slot.

Weather Conditions: If a workshop has been cancelled due to weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the workshop. If weather conditions are questionable, please call CESA #4 Voice Mail at (608) 786-4800; Toll Free (800) 514-3075. A message will be posted regarding workshop weather cancellations.

Other Helpful Hints: Room temperatures vary from one workshop location to another, so bring a jacket or sweater for maximum comfort.

Accommodations: If you need an accommodation to participate including interpreter services (sign language or other spoken language) please email the workshop contact to set up these services. A two-week notice is appreciated.
