WISELearn Digital Content Curation Day - Level 1 -358-765
The WISE Learn Digital Content Curation Project is a state-wide project that aims to create an easy-to-use repository of high quality, standards-aligned digital resources that all Wisconsin educators can access to enhance their classroom instruction, and we need highly regarded educators to help with the process. The teachers will be paid a stipend for work outside of contract time for front-loaded professional learning, and districts will be reimbursed for the cost of subs for the face-to-face content curation workshop. Please join a growing number of Wisconsin educators sharing their content expertise.
Lynn Aprill, Co-Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment at CESA 8, will facilitate.
We are looking for a good mix of 20-25 teachers at all grade levels from all areas.
Participating curators will need to complete online training prior to the curation day. In order to receive a stipend for their time, curators are required to complete the following tasks:
- Complete online training modules before curation day (1-2 hours)
- Bring 4-6 digital resources on curation day
- Curate at least 1-2 digital resources during the curation event
Curators will receive: • $150 stipend for their time • $25 in travel expenses • $150 in sub pay to the district (invoiced directly to CESA 5).
If you need special accommodations, registration must be made three weeks before workshop.
