Concept of Word in Text

Concept of word is a pivotal component of emergent literacy. Participants will learn the definition of concept of word and how to analyze their students’ concept of word data. The course also provides a step-by-step concept of word in text lesson framework for small group instruction and activities to help build students’ reading vocabularies.

Electronic Lesson Plans and other PALS Reading Resources

Make the most of one of the richest resources available in your PALS Online account. This session teaches you how to use the PALS electronic lesson plans for each level of reading development: emergent, beginning, transitional and intermediate/advanced.  Other reading resources available in your PALS Online account will also be shared.  Time to explore and start planning some instruction will be included.
