The WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI) is offering an intensive training aimed at school?based teams who are ready to develop actionable steps towards implementig the Wisconsin School Mental Health Framework in their buildings. Using the principles of implementation science, teams will work collaboratively on developing meaningful and manageable action plans related to wellness and mental health.

Teams will also have access to technical assistance throughout the duration of the school year for help with their action plans. This training will consist of three stages:
1. Pre-training Readiness: After registering, the school contact will be called by a training facilitator to discuss to the site’s readiness and possible steps to take prior to the training.
2. Training: School teams will attend the all day training in Whitewater on Wednesday, January 25th.
3. Post-training Support: Technical assistance will be offered to participants to help troubleshoot concerns and celebrate successes. We strongly encourage you to consider expanding an existing team to help support this work.
