Purpose:  This two-day conference provides information & techniques to assist with behavior management & mental health needs specific to the school setting for a variety of school aged students. The conference also provides an opportunity for educators to network/collaborate around behavioral & mental health needs.  In addition to distinguished key-note speakers, this conference features: speakers are 'practicing experts in the field', multiple breakout sessions, vendor fair with demos, hands-on training, Q & A, and terrific door prizes.

Keynotes & Breakout Sessions

KEYNOTES:
Dr Brian Fidlin, Psy.D - ‘Adolescent Brain Development’
Dr Fidlin is a clinical psychologist and nationally recognized speaker on the areas of pediatric brain development, substance abuse/dependency, and obesity. His presentation will include straight-forward discussion of adolescent brain development and the impact this has on decision making, emotions & risk taking.

Dr. Scott Bautch, D.C., DACBOH, CCST, CCSP - 'Slowing Down the Hamster Wheel'
In this fast-paced, hectic world where we all feel like hamsters running on a wheel, it is easy to get caught up in the doing of “things” and not take care of ourselves. However, taking care of ourselves is essential to our well-being. We cannot give to others what we do not have within ourselves. Discover ways to overcome barriers and discover your inner purpose. Love being you.

Dr. Dipesh Navsaria - Returning for 2 breakout sessions!
Dr Navsaria is strongly engaged in early brain and child development, which include the neurobiological effects of adversity and poverty upon the developing brain.
