RDA: Reading 101 Series
This event is designed for special education teachers charged with teaching reading to students. Reading 101 is a five day series targeting Special Educators willing to build their knowledge and practice in the five pillars of literacy. Participants will delve into:
- Phonemic awareness
- Practical techniques for progress monitoring/formative assessment
- CCSS Standards
- Practical application to core instruction
- Strategies for small group and 1:1 instruction
- Connections to RDA
This is a workshop designed to provide practical, usable strategies for growing readers in manageable ways.
