Description

The Safe and Healthy Schools Network meetings will provide opportunities to meet and interact with other Safe Schools Coordinators and share experiences, ideas and best practice in all areas of youth at risk.

Network Objectives

· To provide updates on the latest School Safety Topics and strategies

· To provide updates on the latest drugs

· To provide opportunities for networking around safe & healthy schools and communities programs, policies, procedures and processes

· To enhance professional development of  leaders in the safe & healthy schools and communities field

Who should attend?

District ATOD/SAP coordinators, K-12 school counselors, school safety  coordinators, K-12 guidance counselors, school nurses, school social workers, pupil services leadership, school district leadership, community prevention partners

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
