Meeting the new requirements of the Academic Career Planning law have also required that districts update the Education for Employment plan and post the descriptions on the school district web site. In this workshop you will learn:

  1. Requirements of the law and PI 26 regulation
  2. Examples of how districts participating in the ACP pilot have met the requirement to post descriptions on their web sites.
  3. Guided walk through of steps to take and information to include in your district’s plan
  4. Options for posting the plan

Time will be provided for district teams to work on developing the content of their plan. Our goal is for districts to leave with a rough draft of their revised and updated Education for Employment Plan.

Presenter: Andy Eaton, CESA #12 LVEC

Target Audience: Each district is required to identify an Education for Employment Coordinator.  It is anticipated that this individual, as well as key players in the development of their E-4-E and ACP documents will attend.

Participants need to bring a laptop with wireless Internet access if possible.
