Principal Network Meeting
The educational leader is one of the most crucial roles for sustaining growth and improvement in schools. Adding to the challenge of leadership is our region’s predominantly rural and isolated nature. This format will allow building leaders to network with colleagues in the CESA#12 region around state, regional and local issues of concern, as well as timely topics related to school improvement. The Network facilitators will provide resources to help nurture, develop and sustain educational leaders in our region.
The Principal Network is an opportunity for school principals to come together and support each other’s growth in their individual districts and across our region. Topics to be addressed over the course of the year include: Educator Effectiveness ( calibration opportunities twice a year), SLO development and evaluation, Wisconsin Model Academic State Standards, Specific Learning Disabilities, CRMLSS, Using Data to Inform Instruction, Assessment Literacy, School Accountability, funding, as well as any current issue that might arise from the DPI/CESA monthly updates.
“Why should I be a part of this Network?”
It will allow you to:
- CONNECT with other like-minded educational leaders in the region
- COLLABORATE around current initiatives, topics and issues
- COMMUNICATE with colleagues on a regular and systematic level
