Description
Title I Schoolwide programs have great latitude to determine how to organize their operations and allocate the multiple funding sources available to them. They do not have to identify particular children as eligible for services or separately track federal dollars. Instead, Schoolwide programs can use all allocated funds to increase the amount and quality of learning time. In this way, they can embrace a high-quality curriculum, according to a comprehensive plan that ensures all children meet the state's challenging academic standards.

Schoolwide programs serve all children in a school. All staff, resources, and classes are part of the overall Schoolwide program. The purpose is to generate high levels of academic achievement in core subject areas for all students, especially those students most in need.

Workshop Goals
This three part workshop series will provide participants:

  • An overview and understanding of what it means to be a Schoolwide Title I school
  • A step by step procedure for preparing to apply for a Schoolwide Title I program
  • A framework for completing a comprehensive needs assessment
  • Strategies for choosing and implementing a planning team
  • A process for writing a comprehensive schoolwide plan that describes how they will achieve the goals identified as a result of their needs assessment
  • The opportunity to develop an implementation plan including an annual evaluation of the plan
  • A network for feedback on their plan
  • Support during the application process

Disclaimer:

CESA 6 makes every effort to accommodate basic dietary needs such as vegetarian, gluten free and basic food allergies. Because of the number of meals served and the number of items used each day, along with food product changes from our food vendors, we cannot guarantee that every allergen in the food served will be identified and labeled. Guests concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. CESA 6 does not assume liability for adverse reactions to food consumed or items one may come into contact with while eating at a CESA 6 event. To better serve our guests with dietary restrictions or allergies, please go into your myQuickReg account and update the special accommodations section. Notice of a special dietary need must be made in advance of the event.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received 48 business hours before the scheduled date for a refund to be issued. Because attendance at most sessions is limited, persons registering and not in attendance on the day of the session will be charged the full registration fee.
