New Teachers and RITE Teacher Candidates, join us to improve your professional interview documents and skills. The focus of this workshop is to create, revise and finalize documents that are vital to your job search as a new teacher: Resume, Cover Letter, WECAN (Wisconsin Education Career Access Network) Application and 12 Questions.  Participants will be guided through using WECAN and wisconsin.gov to locate and apply for teaching positions throughout Wisconsin. Additionally, participants will work to sharpen their knowledge and skills for professional interviews.

Who should attend?

CESA 6: RITE Teacher Candidates and newly-licensed teachers.  This includes current CESA 6 RITE teacher candidates, as well as January 2016 “Jump Start” teacher candidates and 2016-2017 RITE teacher candidates. Pre-service teachers from other educator preparation programs, colleges and universities and newly licensed teachers are welcome.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
