PDP Writing and Verification Workshop 

This workshop will be personalized for each participant that attends. Individualized coaching to meet everyone’s needs at their place within the process. The goal is to get your PDP written—either the goal approval portion or the remainder (Steps IV A and B) of the PDP.

PDP Writing Component  (Step II, A-E) 

This component is specifically designed for Educators who have finished Year 1 and will be in Year 2 of their licensure cycle, as well as, those educators who are in Years 3- 5, looking for assistance in their PDP writing process.

Educators will be guided through a process to produce a Professional Development Plan (PDP) that can lead to Educator Goal approval.  Information given will include an outline / plan for the 5-year process leading to PDP verification and license renewal. Specifically, this component will focus on Step II, A-E in the PDP process.

Initial Educators: Professional Development Plans (PDP) are to be submitted for approval between January 15 and June 1.

PDP Verification Component (Step IV, A–B)

 A documented completion of a Professional Development Plan (PDP), as verified by a PDP review team of three members, is required in order to renew a Professional Educator license or advance from an Initial Educator to a Professional Educator license.

This component will assist educators who are nearing the end of their PDP cycle. The focus will be on writing Steps IV A and B, reflection and summary. You will receive assistance with making decisions on required evidence. We will assist you so that your plan will be ready for submission to a PDP team for final verification.

PDP’s are due to DPI by June 30.  

Please register if, you are an Initial Educator who has had their goal(s) approved and is finishing their PDP or a Professional Educator who is finishing their PDP.

Or please register if, you are an Educators who have finished Year 1 and will be in Year 2 of their licensure cycle, as well as, those educators who are in Years 3- 5, looking for assistance in their PDP writing process.

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
