Writing Strategies #1 - So, What is Workshop Model?

The basics of Writer's Workshop. How to use writer's notebooks and mini-lessons, as well as tools you can use to create a writing strategies-based lesson. 

Participants can take the Writing Strategies offerings in sequence or independent of each other. The focus is K-12, but will be organic to the people in the room. The participants will drive the resources and discussion with their needs, questions, and interests. Questions ahead of time are encouraged. 
Agendas, resources and recommended book lists will be emailed a week before the workshop. After attendance, the instructor will give participants access to CESA 5's writing website.

Cost: $100 for CESA 5 School Improvement Members
$160 All Others

Cancellation Policy: Registered participants will receive a full refund if they cancel before 10 working days before an event, minus any material costs that have already been incurred. Because of our commitment to the trainer and the food vendor, participants who cancel less than 10 working days or do not attend, will be billed the full fee. CESA 5 reserves the right to cancel any event. Registered participants will be notified via email if a cancellation occurs and will receive a full refund. Inclement weather policy: Every effort will be made to hold an event. CESA 5 will notify participants via email as soon as possible if an event has been canceled due to weather conditions.
