WISExplore Data Retreat -- Grades K-12

 DESCRIPTION:

WISEdash and other state data tools offer new opportunities to enhance data inquiry for educators. Bring your school improvement team to participate in this two-day workshop using the new WISExplore inquiry process with state data indicators for your school. This active retreat will enhance your leadership team’s skills with “WISE” data tools as they inform your school’s improvement direction.

Participate in a guided process to …

• Use state data tools and the WISExplore process
• Explore and analyze achievement, growth, attendance, gaps, post-secondary and other state-available data to the student detail level
• Determine data questions, document data findings, and formulate data inferences
• Inform the school improvement process, with connections to annual goals, AMOs, SLO focus areas and strategic action plans

Requirements:

• All participants have WAMS ID, WISEdash and MDAT access to student detail analyst
• Atleast 2 Laptop computers (internet ready) within your group
• 2 LCD projectors

Cancellation Policy:

Any registration cancellation must be received at least 8 business days before event in order for a full conference fee refund to be issued (full refunds do not include service fees. Service fees are nonrefundable).Registration cancellations received 1-7 business days before an event, a refund, minus $50 for each participant, will be issued. Persons who are registered, but not in attendance on the day of the session ("no call, no show") will be charged the full registration fee. CESA 6 reserves the right to cancel any session due to insufficient enrollment. Participants will be notified by email if a cancellation occurs.
