This is an innovative approach to understanding the way many individuals on the autism spectrum think. Judy and Kate use a visual system to demonstrate how to assist individuals with Autism to change thinking patterns and avoid behavior meltdowns. This approach can also be applied to teaching reading comprehension, writing skills and dealing with ever changing schedules which can be difficult for so many of our folks with autism. A variety of modalities will be covered, including video technology, using apps and several low tech options.  Come prepared to learn, to participate and maybe even to change your own thinking!  (Participants are encouraged to bring their own iPad or device they use for apps if they so wish.)
