Objectives
These regional events are designed to provide personnel in institutes of higher education involved in the preparation of education professionals with an opportunity to learn about the Wisconsin’s RtI Framework, a multi-leveled system of supports for academics and behavior. Center staff will highlight the critical elements of the Wisconsin RtI Framework and provide participants with structured time to network, share, and plan around how RtI-specific content could be embedded within their curriculum and courses.
Participants will leave with
• Information on the framework and current status of RtI implementation in Wisconsin
• Information on the critical elements of the Wisconsin RtI Framework for academics and behavior (PBIS)
• Information about materials, resources, language, and assessments from the Wisconsin RtI Center, including the Wisconsin PBIS Network
• Increased understanding of the needs of future Wisconsin school personnel with respect to Wisconsin RtI, both academics and PBIS
• Ideas integrating and embedding RtI content into curriculum
Audience
Any professors and staff responsible for educator preparation programming
Cost
$50 per person
