CVTC STEM Career Sectional

Each of these sectionals will provide information on STEM related careers. Participants will be working with CVTC faculty from multiple program areas and will have the opportunity to view different teaching environments within the college. This is an excellent chance to build network connections with post-secondary staff as high schools move toward more curriculum partnerships. These sectionals will not offer the option of graduate credit.

Monday:  This session will focus on applications of Math and Logic in the career fields of Information Technology.

Tuesday:  Faculty from the CVTC Radiography and Renal Dialysis Program will explore with you the communication styles required in health care careers. Additionally, Nursing and Pharmacy Technician Program faculty will present on the utilization of math skills in these programs. Focusing on the relevance of science, and in particular A & P, in health programs will be faculty from the Life Science, Dental and Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
